I was there for the race (spectating) and I have so say it was still a ton of fun to watch. I mean yeah, I would’ve liked to see more actual green flag racing, but it definitely kept my attention better than IndyCar (the race prior). From where I was sitting, the fans were quite energetic and everyone seemed really…
Your posts always give the greatest desktop pictures, but I usually like downloading original sizes. I know you always credit them, but is there a way you can post a link to the actual source?
For furniture items, my method is to buy cheap first. If I notice I use it heavily and it breaks, that's when I know I need a better quality item. I usually go with buying Ikea things and if it breaks, then I'll replace it with higher quality item. It's worked great so far; I've had my bed, bed frame, and table with…
This isn't the car, but I only very recently found out they imported about 20 manual 599's. Super rare here in the states.
Zazinggg! Haha!
The ebay description reads that it was "a prior salvage" .
Ha! Well we sure could use rain. It's nuts to hear about all this crazy weather happening around the nation...unless you're LA where nothing weather noteworthy happens
"Ugh," people will say, following a long commute in a torrential downpour on a 12-lane highway with road signs that look like extended warranties. "D.C. drivers are the worst. They have no idea how to drive in rain."
After going through numerous hands in the following decades, it became part of the Petersen Collection, where it got restored to a Concourse-winning condition with a brand new brown paint job that enhanced Ghia's stunning lines.
And you row your own boat!
Does anyone know what style of art (i.e. art deco) this is considered? I enjoy these types of retro look travel posters but I don't know what to search besides "retro travel posters"
How is it off-road? If you've driven a Land Cruiser of comparable year, which one would you prefer?
I think Wal-Mart has a policy that allows you to sleep in your car in their parking lots and they won't kick you out. Don't quote me on that though.
I like minivans.
They actually came in green. Plus, Duesenberg's Straight-8's came a little after brass era.
Thanks for doing this! I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say we really appreciate it!
My honest serious opinion about SUVs: I have feeling that the reason why they're so popular is that SUVs give you that extra safety net and the fact that you can. No maybe you won't go offroading, but at least if you wanted to, you could. It may be that "well if my car can handle offroading, my car can handle anything…
But how about the non-AMG version? The 550? Let's allllll be honest, AMG's are for the road, be it a ML63, GL63, or G63, its for the road. I think the 550 has rear exhaust so that might help alleviate the scraping (but don't quote me on that). Plus the 550 doesn't wear street tires.
That's hilarious that once you get to the Petersen, you decide to do a U-turn. Wanted to drive it for a lot longer, eh? You guys were sure lucky not to run into traffic, I take the route to the Petersen and that route gets JAMMED.
