Whew. Whataboutism in record time.

This is the stupidest thing I’ve read today, congratulations!

I know. Intolerance of intolerance is the worst kind of intolerance, isn’t it.

What is it about “Africa?” I mean, the lyrics are kind of absurd, and it’s a very 80s song, but dammit all it really gets me. It captures this sense of longing and yearning and it’s really a beautiful song that is greater than the sum of its parts.

I imagine people 20 years ago would’ve said this about The Simpsons, and look how that turned out, but I’ve personally seen every 30 Rock and Seinfeld episode enough times that the total time I’ve spent watching them probably adds up to a couple of months by now. I could use some more of those, particularly as NYC

Star-Trek TNG = yesterday and forever

Doctor Who, which is the rare show that actually can go on forever thanks to the ability to recast the lead (and shake up the format when it starts to get stale).

Well, I think the movie is a bad idea, but I trust Phil Lord and Chris Miller and think that they’ll do something good with something so creatively bankrupt.
