I feel like the whole debate is a holdover from when TV was a ghetto whose creatives only ambition was supposed to be to escape to film. It’s a TV show. It was always understood that it would air first in parts, on TV. It’s that simple.

This is probably my favorite AV Club thingie.

It’s really mind blowing. They actually convinced people that the tweet was sincere and not a joke. It’s a great joke too! One that points out the hypocrisy and ambivalence of Hollywood.

This is the first outright negative review I’ve seen for this movie, and it kind of reads as though the reviewer is just holding a grudge against James Franco. So ... I’m still gonna go see it.

For a “lost” story, Shada has been re-released an awful lot. There’s already been a novel, an animated web version, and an audio version at least. Plus Adams reused a lot of elements of it for Dirk Gently.
