I think its fine. Its more of a nod to our times than a straight up theft of the album title. Its one of those titles that will always be iconic to Sly and The Family Stone, so I’m sure Yo La Tengo aren’t trying to take focus away from that album. 

That Pancake scene had me snorting with laughter. Goddammit, Disney. 

This is why I have to explain to my friends why I still buy DVDs. There are so many films not streaming (especially in the UK). 

Although it was an enjoyable moment, I do feel for Barry Jenkins. Moonlight winning (without interruption) should have been a defining moment at the Oscars, now its been reduced to a punchline. I still love that movie and I’m sad its win didn’t have a major effect on the Hollywood awards process. 

Don’t worry, Netflix has already thrown Iggy into a shallow pond. The reason why its shallow is so he can be wet and have sore knees. Netflix thinks of everything.

I don’t agree with what Fallon did, however there were many reasons why the election went wrong and Fallon plays (basically) no role. A big issue was the class disparity in places such as Pennsylvania and Michigan, as well as the rise of right-wing populism among the working class due to a stagnant economy. Oddly…

I was going to see The Fall live last year in Glasgow, but skipped them because they tour a lot and I was sure to see them at some point. Fuck. 

Say what you will about Duke Nukem 3D, but the combat was fun and the level design was pretty damn impressive for the time. But yeah...everything else...yeah. I still play it every so often though. 

I seen it a couple of months ago. I can confirm that not only does it live up to expectations, it goes well beyond them. There’s a certain comedy set piece in this film that had the audience chocking with laughter. A modern political comedy masterpiece.

I hear their tree department is doing quite well.
