This one of those things that bums me about mordern gaming: the abandoning of game manuals. I still have a bunch of SNES manuals in my closet that I sometimes take a whiff when I’m in in there. It’s fascinating how distinct many of them are, and the memory effect they have is uncanny! It’s really a time warp.

Not the games themselves, but the instruction manuals. Many of them had unique scents. I still remember the smells of the Final Fantasy III SNES manual, A Link to the Past and a few N64 games like Mario 64. 

Honestly I’d prefer a 4-Swords Adventure remaster. That felt like a better couch co-op game to me. 

Unless they got rid of the bucket. it’s a no from me dawg.

Erm, Fire Emblem 13 and 14 had Beach DLC too...

I doubt it if it really comes up. The first game had the whole “guy/girl lover” trait that more or less outed a character as gay and it never seemed to come into the story in any way.

Is their a big incentive to hit high ranks? If I recall, in the first game the princess gave you special goodies, but I never felt required to get A ranks. I think it was just an achievement tied to it? Experience was easy enough to farm by cheezing skirmish missions in 1-2 turns.
