At least in Sacramento, your close enough to the Bay Area and a short flight to SoCal.

I still can’t believe the Kings finally lucked out and have a shot at drafting another franchise player after the Cousins fiasco (assuming Vlade and co. don’t fuck it up and draft MP3 or something horrible like that!)

How can they chase the cyberpunk samurai riding dragons fad if it doesn’t exist yet??

To be fair, a lot of concept art is more impressive than what makes it into the game. Mostly because your talking an artist’s striking illustration and converting it to 3D, but also a lot of stuff gets left on the cutting room floor floor.

Is that concept art for a Jazz Jackrabbit sequel?

Though her diary deserves a lot of attention and should be read by everyone, it’s kind of overshadowed a lot of other first-hand accounts of not just the Holocaust, but the other seminal tragedies of WW2. Apparently my old high school no longer has Night in the freshman curriculum, but now they read Anne Frank. Not

I’m kinda curious what the answer to that sister riddle is now. I haven’t heard that one before!

Is your Russian Blue affectionate? My cat Ivan only let’s my brother pick him up without complaining, and will sleep on his lap, but no one else.

My perpetual mistake is jumping into games like Civ, Total War or lengthy RPGs that go own for ages as my backlog piles up. I need to focus on the games that I can burn through in 10 hours or less if I really want to cut this pile down!

To be fair, most platformers are perfect for switch. As well as RPGs, strategy games, sims, well anything really! xD

He doesn’t look much like his dad, but the way he speaks and his tone have a similar pattern.

I love F-Zero, but for my money that sheer speed of the Burnout series is unparalleled. It really tests the limits of human reaction-time when the whole track is a blurring past you looking for split second opening. Plus crash mode. oh, God crash mode was glorious!

The proportion of female gamers is certainly growing every year (something like 45% of all people who say they play games regularly), but it really comes down to genre. Quantic Foundry has a great article breaking down the divide:

Secular on the surface, but the state still dislikes organized religion in most forms. The laws are almost lip service when the government has extra judicial powers to crack down on any group that isn’t conforming. Religious leaders get threatened all the time and I don’t just mean the Dali Lama. Local churches and

People need to understand that even though China has big modern cities, they still live in an pseudo-authoritarian state. Local governments bully and threaten people all the time. For example, citizens have no land ownership (you can own your house, but not the land it’s on). So, if the government wants to kick you

Christianity specifically. Though they had anti-gay laws since the 16th century, it wasn’t entirely taboo.
