With all respect to Ms. Johnson and her sad predicament, why does Kim care about a jailed Mississippi woman? How does she even know she exists? Why pick this battle?

Surprised Darling in the Franxxx wasn’t mentioned. I’m kind of up and down on the show, but it seemed to get a lot of buzz last season.
I keep hearing about all these lawsuits against Trump and his crime syndicate, but are any of them going to bear fruit? Never mind how painfully slow the process is, every day he sits on the throne is another day of potential horror for America.
I wish Anne Dowd tweeted “Damn! Low blow!”
Wait, pointing out that someone has smokey eye make up is an insult now? It’s not like SHS has a mustache she’s trying to hide. She’s intentionally wearing the eye shadow!
Ann Dowd is an incredible actress. SHS should be beside herself with that kind of flattery! But really, I’m just tired that we can’t insult people based on appearance anymore. Go ahead and call her an iron-clad bitch, but heaven forbid a comedian jokes about her eye shadow! Smh. Sometimes I don’t want to think of…
Of course it holds up. LoM’s greatest strength was it’s art direction and being among the prettiest 2D games ever made. Don’t get me wrong. I think LoM was the last very good mana game and had a fascinating world and characters, but for all it’s charm it had a lot of flaws (lack of decent multi-player being chief…
I thought the same thing, but when I went over the lists, PS2 has just as many classic RPGs as any other system. My knock would be that it also had a lot more flops than most other systems (and started the diabolical trend of shovel-ware JRPGs that cater to horny weebs).
Legend of Mana is not a great example, because....it’s not a great game.
Hey Peter! Welcome back! I think the next time your on duty at kotaku it would be neat if you can flesh out this topic by researching GOAT games lists/GOAT JRPG lists from different publications and compiling the average ranking. From what I can gather just from perusing a few of the top google hits in the past half…
PS1 and SNES are almost equal in my eyes, but SNES games have aged alot better and if were being honest, several of the great PS1 RPGs are SNES ports. I think if you included games that never made it to the West, the SNES would have a longer list of classic RPGs (people are still butt hurt about Secret of Mana 2 and…
I had a lengthy post written out explaining my reasons, but I accidentally hit the back button...so I’ll summarize:
I’ve been lukewarm on SE pretty much since FF XIII was released. Most of their core franchises are either stuck in a funk (like FF), delayed to infinity (KH and FF7) or dead (Mana, Chrono Trigger). Dragon Quest is one of the few that seems to have kept some consistent quality. The days of me impatiently counting the…
It’s a Japanese promotional tactic. These kind of commercials are cheap, quick to make and don’t require a lot of in-game assets to be shown, so early WIP games can get attention. And I agree, they’re annoying and dumb.
At least Octopath Traveler looks good?
I’m glad Stormy is leading the charge, but looking at Trump and this Elliott Broidy guy, they’re among the ugliest humans I’ve ever seen. Ladies, I get you were trying to play the game and fucking these goblins for personal benefit, but please have some standards. I’m a guy, so maybe I shouldn’t be able to criticize.…
How shocked would you be if he was a rich, beloved white dude?
Nintendo did what they do best: appeal to kids and nostalgic adults, plus introducing a great gimmick. Launching with a killer app like Zelda certainly doesn’t hurt either. From an objective point of view, the Switch has only one advantage as a console over the competition, it’s portability. Otherwise it’s flaws and…
Was there ever a killer app on the vita though? I don’t remember ever hearing people raving about a particular vita game. Cross play was a brilliant idea though
Unnecessary jab at Kirby is unnecessary!
