It was mediocre at best. I'm unfamiliar with its source material, but I think it would have been better served placing the investigation front and center.

I can't imagine how they can have a second season set in Fortitude again. As much as I'd love to find out what becomes of Luke Treadaway playing Vincent playing Daniel Bruhl playing Niki Lauda, whether Elena lives and how they rid her of the parasitic wasps, if Carrie survived her stabbing, as well as if Yuri's ill

I still don't understand why that was a scandal. First of all, he didn't even fuck anyone, he just sent a dick pic.

Bears can stand I their hind legs and are like 6' tall, so…yeah…I doubt he'd be able to climb high enough to escape the slashing paws of the polar bear. He was also very drunk, which I can't imagine helps with critical thinking when in a life and death situation.

It seems to me that humans are initially infected via a bite from the wasp/bug thing.

It's only stated that Pettigrew discovered what appears to be a number of wooly mammoth carcasses on a read out from the research center's GPR(Ground Penetrating Radar).

Says you. There were titties in episode 1. Takin'the fap train to Fortitude!

Actually it might your issue. I frequently have problems understanding the dialogue as a combination of the score and what sounds to me like the characters mumbling instead of talking makes it difficult to catch all of what's said.
