I'm also not saying that it absolutely matters which transmission a car has for the person to be a good driver. I'm only saying the extra attentiveness required from a manual transmission can only be a good thing, nothing more.

As I mentioned in another reply, I believe it makes you a more attentive driver, whether that attentiveness is then used to be a better driver or an asshole depends on the person doing the driving, not the transmission.

If you're going to ridicule my suggestion, at least provide some reasoning.
