Competitive Pokemon in this context is VGC doubles, not Smogon singles. At a recent grassroots tournament Maushold was on 17% of all teams, making it the #9 most used Pokemon.  It was also on 1 out of 4 teams that had a 7-2 or better record.

Wide Lens is much better for Population Bomb. Loaded Dice gives you a 100% chance to hit 4 times, but that drops to 90% chance to hit 5 times, all the way down to 53% chance to hit 10.

Actually, no. Apparently Tandemaus can evolve into Maushold when you’re not looking, skipping the animation. Presumably an Everstone will prevent this, but I haven’t tested it.

Mouse Road! Mouse Road! Mouse Road!

I actually wish more manga creators would adopt the notion of getting someone else to do the artwork and/or writing while they supervise and provide the plot, especially if the health forces the series to move to monthly releases rather than weekly.

If they live in Japan, they have universal healthcare. Questions like “do you pay for your healthcare or does your employer” only really make sense in the US.

I think, rather than fans clamoring for a faster return to beloved series and people telling fans to stop doing that, both sides should instead pressure the studios that make these things to actually improve work hours and conditions and, most importantly, actually stop buying all this manga to send that message. I

As much as I agree...the studios that hire our passionate, respected mangaka don’t care for their health if it’s stalling the revenue flow. A lot of people in Japan like to work themselves to serious illness/death, creating a rather unhealthy work ethic culture. Businesses typically like to exploit passionate,

I’ll do ya one better:

This didn’t just exist in a vacuum of course, with the reveal trailer’s most talked about discussion being was Joel a vision of Ellie’s given you never saw his face.

But why does such an obvious stance like “I care for others” have to be declared in a statement? Isn’t this the default assumption? If any stance needed stating, shouldn’t it be “I’m a PoS who doesn’t care for others”?

Cancel culture... and the whole if you’re not with us, you’re against us ideals they espouse... I mean you asked so there it is. You either support them or you’re against them... that’s the way they’ve sort of put it out there

No one has to bow down to an ideaology. BLM is many different things and it’s fair to not agree with some ideas they adopt. BLM are well within their right to do their thing, but the idea that everyone must just bend the knee to a movement or they’re ostracized is terrifying, and if you dont think so then you might

While I believe no one should be forced to take a stance, this person totally went the shitty route. It'd be much better to give an internal memo that the company would be neutral but the employees could voice their opinions with no repercussions.

No they didn’t, THPS did.

Maybe I’m cynical, but I have trouble believing that we, as a society, can function without any sort of policing whatsoever. If the ultimate answer is that caring about serving your community effectively and justly means resigning from serving as a police officer, doesn’t that just mean that the only police officers

I have no fear of living near a nuclear facility. There is one about 20 minutes away and I don’t even think about it. In fact I'm pretty proud of the fact I get my power from there. I've been getting green power for the twenty years I've been in my house.

Maybe saving people a few clicks.
Deadnaming occurs when someone, intentionally or not, refers to a person who’s transgender by the name they used before they transitioned. You may also hear it described as referring to someone by their “birth name” or their “given name.”

“or a nuclear reactor that’s killing us in the community”

It seems to me that this is a classic Snow White (ha) Apple gift at this point: he gets praise for relinquishing a seat of power, while a POC gets a chance at rising to the top of a Herculean in terms of influence site.
