The vagina is a closed-end tube that isn’t a sphincter, so rarely do folks have to have something removed from it in the ER (excepting babies of course). It’s designed to hold things that eventually slide or can be pulled out.

Laws like the RHA prevent doctors like Gosnell from existing. Women went to him because they were desperate. Because they couldn’t find an abortion provider anywhere else.
