I’m someone impacted by this - that’s what Ubisoft ended up doing.

Expandalones aren’t recent; they’ve been making them at least as far back as 1997 (Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Mysteries of the Sith), with others over the years (Homeworld: Cataclysm in 2000, Half-Life: Blue Shift, the Warhammer: Dawn of War expansions) as well.

On the shelf next to Ron Gilbert’s Monkey Island 3.

Well, supposedly it was after midnight when he recorded that. If so, I can’t really blame him for looking tired!

Their combat specialists are gone - they’re working on Jade Raymond’s Star Wars game now.

It depends on which SSD length figure you use. If you go with the old 8km size, it looks just about right next to that 1.6km Imperial class. (Should be 5 times as long, looks like it’s “only” about 4 times as long.)

Even if there was a Windows 95 native version (which SC2K SE certainly wasn’t at launch, what with it coming out about six months before Windows 95), it probably still have used 16-bit components and thus is incompatible with systems running 64-bit versions of Windows.

I’d watch the hell out of this if he was actually the star - someone else playing the lead just isn’t interesting.

That’s what the Abstergo tech is now, but that’s not what it was in the first five games. They had a much stronger focus on the present day, and - IMO - were better for it. Unity, Syndicate, and Origins would have been stronger if they’d ditched the present day entirely.

That ship already sailed - Dragon Age 4 is basically cancelled at this point, they pulled most of the staff to work on Anthem instead.

Yes.

Is it really going to be physical? Assassin’s Creed: Rogue’s current-gen port wasn’t, at least in North America.

Then I think you’re doing something wrong. (Or the Sport engines are crap.) My 2010 Fusion SE was usually around 23-25 MPG average, mostly city (15 minutes commute to/from work); my dad’s 2012 Fusion SE that’s mostly highway gets over 30.

(And the 2018 Fusion Hybrid SE I replaced mine with usually gets 39-42 over that

I’d believe that. The Martian is the one I can think of with two, and it clocks in at 142 minutes.

No, that’s not what I’m saying at all. I’m saying that the federal taxes Amazon didn’t qualify to pay aren’t how the roads or utilities were paid for (again: that’s done through property and gas taxes), and that they *do* pay the taxes that fund those things.

Amazon pays for utilities used by their buildings through property taxes, and for the roads by gas tax for their trucks, or paid indirectly by what they pay the various shipping companies.

I don’t know about “marquee”, but I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the same director directed the best two Bond movies of the last 25 years.

And yet most fast food places now sell the same size drinks that McDonald’s labelled “super size”, calling it their large. I’m surprised McDonald’s hasn’t followed suit.

About four hours away. Though my sister lives in Chicago and will be driving past there on her way here in a week or two - I might be able to bribe her to stop by... :)

Must just be your area. Still not available online, nor have I seen any on the shelves around here.
