One of my Facebook friends, who I don’t particularly like in real life, posted an article all about how Melania is cutting the bloated First Lady budget from Michelle Obama’s days. I was like yeah, Melania can cut the budget because unlike the wonderful Michelle Obama, she isn’t actually doing anything.

That makes no sense. Why would anyone need to eat in a hotel bathroom when hotel rooms also have beds and tables? And, rich people’s hotel rooms are usually suites with living rooms.

It makes me wonder what kind of person eats in the bathroom, for one.

I never quite understand Britney’s outfit choices but I’m glad she seems happy and carefree and her Instagram posts always delight me. Keep doing you Brit!

Me too! I don’t have children and don’t plan to have any, but putting a changing table in the single use “women’s” room just further pushes these ideas of gender norms that are absolute bullshit.

Yeah, I do agree, although my point was more we shouldn’t be labeling single occupancy restrooms as being for one gender (since I don’t live in California, where I just learned that single occupancy restrooms can’t be labeled for one gender), but I think that going out of the way to say non-gender specific, etc. seems…

California is really making great progress on gender. I live in Massachusetts where this isn’t a law but it really should be.

This is only slightly related, but I get so annoyed when single toilet bathrooms have “men” or “women” designations. Like if only one person can use the bathroom at a time I am going to use whichever one is free and so should everyone else. It is so unnecessary to put anything other than “bathroom” on the door.

All the couples I know who got married at that right after college age are now divorced. I guess getting married at 21 works for some people but I am still super meh about it.
