As for the oil companies knowing for 30+ years. So what? Everyone has known about climate change for 30+ years. The oil companies never had any super secret well of climate knowledge that wasn’t accessible to the rest of the scientific community
I’d imagine the program being a public-private partnership with grant money to companies like chargepoint to install more chargers. Kind of like how the cross-continental railway was built in the 19th century. With more chargers out there, range/charging concerns would go away, facilitating the switch.

Honda doesn’t use exclusively in-house transmissions. They have plenty of ZF sourced transmissions in the 8 and 9 speed guises.

True, but the throughput of a 3D printer is glacial. These things print at inches/hour. One machine might be able to print one part per shift. That’s going to be very long ROI for an expensive 3D printer
