Unless anomalies in the test are what flag the false positive. Then multiple screenings wouldn't necessarily remove those. Mammograms are ONLY meant for initial screenings. Anything that was found after that would be tested 2-3 different ways.

I think they are stretching the source article a bit. Inaccuracy in mammograms are resulting in unnecessary biopsies which might be considered "invasive" surgeries. I'm pretty sure you have to get biopsied before beginning chemo and biopsies are, as far as I know, extremely accurate.
