This was an extremely well written article with many valid points. I do agree that killing the youngest Anderson on screen was just cheap shocks (also, pretending that Glen was going to get killed off made me laugh out loud).
In my experience (former personal trainer at a big box gym in NYC, and current 3rd year medical student) tracking calories is by far the worst possible way to convince someone to lose weight. Let me explain why:

I disagree that just doing the bar will help you develop good form. As a former personal trainer (left the business and now I am developing fitness apps) I’ve seen so many imbalances that prevent people from doing proper technique even with just their body weight. Tons of people work desk jobs and type on computers…
