I’m Australian. Kangaroos can be really dangerous animals. That woman has a male red in her yard... Those fuckers are TERRIFYING and will quite literally punch you out and scratch you to death with their legs. They’re not all cute and sweet animals. They’re the kind of animal that any smart person would back away from

Some clarification on the relevant law:

I used to work in television as an evening director. A 2% raise every year no matter how well or poor your job performance. No amount of leaning-in was going to get me more money so I leaned back and started smoking a bowl before work every day. After surviving 3 rounds of layoffs, I saw the writing on the wall and

Yeah, one of the people I talked to made that point pretty emphatically. It’s no worse than any other place she’d been. It was just all coming to a head at once, and spectacularly so.

The latest episode made me want a winter wedding. The snow looks so pretty and I’d finally have an excuse to wear a kick ass cloak. I’ll take a pass on marrying into a family of psychopaths though.

I am 4000% unsurprised.

My 8th grade class got in so much trouble during a pro-life lecture, because we were genuinely confused.

Also funny — birth control wouldn’t help with, cough, immaculate conception.

You know what’s funny? I’m pretty sure Mary herself would be facepalming at these jackasses. After all, she got to choose whether to be pregnant. Her consenting to have God’s kid is, like, a central element in Catholicism.

I had a long, complicated dream last night where I told off a Sunday School teacher for shaming teenagers about birth control and condoms. Even my subconscious can’t handle this BS anymore.

Slightly puzzled, sarcastic judicial rulings are some of my favorite bedtime reading.

I’m gonna chase my birth control pills with an Old Fashioned in my Notre Dame rocks glass to celebrate.

OMG PEOPLE GOT NEW JOBS IN THE PAST 4 YEARS! ESCANDALO!

I can’t tell you how refreshing this recap was after slugging it out all day with folks arguing about the closing scene. This though:

This was pretty much my thought on the whole thing- Ramsay is a monster, doing as monsters do.

Sansa has been escaping this very fate for years, and has done so out of sheer luck. Rape has been used as a cheap plot device on the show recently, but I really don’t think this is one of those instances.

The scene was very difficult to watch, but I felt like it worked well for the story they’re telling. It was right that Ramsay would rape Sansa; not only is he a sadist, but culturally he’d be expected to — remember that Tyrion was considered a weirdo for NOT immediately raping his teenage bride. I also felt like the

I found myself surprised that I was upset that during the rape they showed only Theon’s face. The only thought I had was “way to make a woman getting raped all about how a man feels.”

“So… you’re still abortion-minded, even if you happen to be tubally pregnant?” she asked.

The point is not adding “token” women. The point is recognizing the knowledge and skills women abundantly have, and are equal to or exceed that of male panalist, and incorporate them equally into the world.
