Yep. And all too often there is nothing at all. I’ve come very close to clipping a few pedestrians who were dressed in all black, crossing a major road at night far away from any street lights. Didn’t see them until I was right on top of them.

Night time pedestrians vastly improve their visibility to cars by wearing something reflective. If you’re planning on walking any significant distance or across busy streets, wear a reflective hat or something.

The front fascia reacting to the pedestrian leg test is mesmerizing. It’s almost like jello.

A lot of my family and friends (myself included) learned to drive stick on my aunt’s old 1994 Ford Ranger, rwd 2.3l 5-speed. It had the most vague shifter in existence. The shift knob had a foot of left/right travel in gear. It was so bad that finding third was basically guesswork.

This is actually not an original restored redline. It’s a Neo-Classics Custom Mark III. Essentially a factory reproduction, faithful right down to the bent-axle suspension.

NP because it’s literally a full size Hot Wheels car.

Bingo!

34 y/o “millennial” here. I avoid alcohol because it is toxic, tastes awful, and I hate the feeling of any level of inebriation. Nothing to do with social media.

It was the dealer that upsold her the amsoil on both services.

She had the trans flushed and filled at 35k and 70k. Amsoil synthetic both times.

My mom’s ‘95 Vision grenaded its transmission at 77k. There’s a reason you don’t see many of these on the road anymore.

The fact that the folks from the shop were willing to let strangers climb all over their fresh build shows that they’re just the kinds of people the enthusiast world needs right now.

Concrete stairs aren’t too terribly difficult to go up on a dirt bike, they just require commitment i.e. hit them going at least 10mph and stay on throttle while leaning forward. As long as you stay on throttle, you’ll just keep zipping up like nothing. Concrete stairs provide LOTS of traction.

We’d be better off funneling a trillion dollars directly into solar panel refinement and viable nuclear fusion plants, as well as room temperature superconductors.

I respond to your BLIP with a BRAAAP

Even if the Green New Deal were passed, and even if we accomplished every one of its goals domestically, that doesn’t stop the majority of the global human population in developing nations from shitting all over the environment. It will accomplish nothing.

The D9 bulldozer also has a top speed of 7 mph, or 9mph in reverse; and is doing most of its work at half that speed.

Can’t wait to see more specs on the 7.3 gasser, and whether Ford Racing will be developing and selling an aluminum crate version of it!
