The Beast (a.k.a. the Presidential Limo).

I dunno, my 30 year old E30 has cost me less than a thousand dollars a year to maintain, consistently, for the past four years of daily driving. I drive it about 36,000 miles a year. That works out to less than $100 a month.

This car alone makes me want to buy a console just to be able to buy and play this game.

Aesthetics aside, I'd love to see how the magnetic suspension copes with super high payload and towing requirements. It could be an evolutionary leap forward for consumer trucks.

Don't give them any ideas, now soon the new brotruck standard will be 6x6 or GTFO

This is relevant to my interests.

This reminded me a lot of conversations I've had with close friends while driving. To me, at least, the act of travelling in a car somehow serves as a catalyst for deep, serious discourse.

EPA figures for my 1993 Ford Taurus SHO 3.0l/5-speed are 16mpg city, 24 highway.

A lot of folks, myself included, would have really liked to see the 12C with a center driving position, similar to the legendary F1. Why was that not a viable option with the 12C?

Speaking of the McLaren F1, Jay Leno posted this video up on youtube last month. Talk about hardcore car porn:

I'm also not sure I'd call the MP4-12C "no expense spared," like the F1 was. The P1 is probably closer to that gold standard. I'll be happy if the Mustang can stay at 3200 or less. Less would be better but 3200 is damn light compared to the competition (Camaro and Challenger) these days. If it's true that they're

The McLaren F1 road car came in around 2500lbs. That's Miata territory.

State of the rear brakes on my '78 Lincoln Mark V immediately after purchase. Yeah, slightly scary.

The 3-1 supermodifed makes me wonder: Has anyone made a car with a diamond wheel configuration (i.e. one center front, one center rear, and two middle wheels that extend to the sides)? My guess is that a tadpole trike configuration is just as stable and lighter/simpler...

The Mahoning Drive-In is great. My girlfriend is friends with the owners, they're super nice. They even let us borrow their Jeep Liberty to watch the movie in when I discovered my car's radio wasn't getting reception to the Theater frequency for sound, last time we were up there. Great theater, I hope they get picked!

Or fiberglass...

The surviving set of my old Hot Wheels and Match Box collection from childhood. Lots of vintage stuff, and several custom-painted mad max style machines too. Fun fact, the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile was the fastest on a track, by a wide margin!

It's where the steering wheel is, that GT40 is right hand drive.

Because my car is always there for me. Because it gets me from place to place, and lets me escape to wherever I want. Because it's both a means to get somewhere, and a location in and of itself. Because when I'm all alone, somewhere far away from home, in a lonely place where no one knows my name, my car is my

The GT40 pictured has a gurney bubble, you should fit no problem!
