I have two problems with this article.

I would say movie and TV development is akin to creating video games

Making a large, complex piece of software from scratch is VASTLY, VASTLY more complicated than making a movie or TV show. Even the biggest, most complex movies are child's play compared to the enormity of the challenge of releasing an average video game.

In an industry that’s constantly trying to push the envelope, where most of what they’re trying to make has never been done before, how do you expect anything close to perfect planning. The problem is that investors have expectations, they don’t understand or care how the product is made, just that it gets made on…

What I meant was that the gameplay portion in games hasn’t been much more different across the last generations of consoles. Not that all games are the same thing.

A few hundred?  They easily spent thousands just to trademark the logo.  Corporate lawyers don’t tend to work for free.  Add in the countless meetings involving upper levels of management, graphic designers, marketing, legal, etc.  No chance they didn’t spend millions.

It's a meme because it was the only thing about the PS5 Sony announced at CES.

I feel sorry for the kids these days having such bland texts as symbols for what is supposed to be their source of play and fun.

The best part is that Sony certainly had dozens of meetings, conference calls, design revisions and easily spent a few million dollars finalizing this design.  

T Pain blasting someone for using auto tune is fucking great. Glad he’s managed to stay chill all these years and not get caught up in some nonsense.

And articles like this help me make an informed decision about which developers I support.

I didn’t realize the 2k20 in the title was the expiration date.

It’s an artist that has to work on a garbage kids game (there are plenty of good ones, and this aint one), who didn’t need the final chunk of the image for the game and drew how he feels about the game. If anything, it’s a look into the mind of an artist, not really an easter egg.  

Is it really an Easter Egg if its not found in-game?  Unless I missed something, this is only seen if you go into the game files

This is a bit agile for him. He doesn’t generally disappear so much as not pay contractors and then assume they won’t want to pay for lawyers in endless lawsuits.
