The only thing worth remembering about this car were the terrible commercials that implied anyone driving one was too stupid to understand how to use a 4WD system, so the car had to “auto-magically” do it all for you. I still think those commercials were nothing but insulting, and am astonished anyone wanted to buy…
My former gf once rented an apartment equipped with an Ford electric stove & oven. Seemed really strange they put their name on a product without wheels.
Seems like this is ripe for a “where the sun DOES shine” joke.....
“All seasons are fantastic.”
Nothing wrong with RWD, mid-engine, or sports car for snow..... provided one uses the right tires. The high performance summer tires typical on sports cars turn into hockey pucks in the cold. Equip some winter tires and sports cars can work fine.
“But it’s not nearly as disappointing as the fact that the JL diesel comes only with the automatic transmission.”
Can’t mention the 928 without this video:
Qantas Premium Economy is pretty sweet, and a big upgrade from the joke US domestic carriers call “premium economy”. Wider large seats that actually recline, leg support, blankets, pillows, fold out screens with movies/music/games, free booze, and all you can eat snacks between pretty darn good meals.

No interior shots AND no mention of which transmission it has. The DSG is pretty good for track use, but some people still prefer three pedals. For 20K, I’d like to know which I was buying.
I do an hour and a half each day, about 33 miles.
There was also the difference that generators, utilizing permanent magnets, could produce electricity even if there was no battery present. Alternators need some current to energize the coils in order to produce a magnetic field and therefore will not function with a totally flat (or absent) battery. Old cars could…
Mazda 787B. Nuff said.
Also many modern cars don’t have a true filter. The pickup will have a mesh cage that will block really big things, but it doesn’t provide the same level of filtration the old replaceable paper filters do.
Sure, call it in. But don’t expect the police will do anything about it until AFTER the dangerous driver hurts/kills someone. Citizen’s accounts of things are pretty much worthless from a legal standpoint.
Fly Qantas in Premium Economy. It’s not a LOT more expensive that regular economy, seating is roomy, includes movies, music, games, great food and ALL THE BOOZE YOU WANT. I’ve made 3 trips to Aus and it’s not the most terrible way to spend 14-16 hours each way.
My quote above is Evi’s response to V’s speech.
“Are you, like, a crazy person?”
