I very much prefer Japanese RPGs. I play some Western RPGs (like The Witcher 3, the Mass Effect trilogy, etc.), but I’ve always liked Japanese RPGs more.

North America got Super Mario USA. Japan got Super Mario Bros. 2, Doki Doki Panic, and Super Mario USA, so I think it’s hard to argue that they got the worse deal.

Personally, though, I think that Super Mario USA is the worst of the 2D Mario platformers. I’ve never much cared for the game.
