This year’s loss is more humiliating for the Rockets since it builds on the shame of their previous defeat and destroys their previous excuses for failing. However, I also think that last year’s loss will be what people remember, since those 27 consecutive missed 3-pointers are a horror show statistic.

Chris Paul is the type of player who will end up with a great stat line (27 points on 11 for 19 shooting!), so you can’t say he’s bad, but he never seems to go for an explosive performance and end up with 40 to 50 points, even though that’s exactly what his team needs, sometimes (in contrast, Damian Lillard had one of

I didn’t think Harden was as good as he seemed before the game, so it didn’t change my opinion of him as a player. His game plan is too reliant on fouls, which means that how well he plays depends too much on the whims of referees. That said, I was surprised that he choked at the free-throw line last night; he can’t

It’s sort of the same team, but all of the guys on this team are older (which has especially affected Bogut, Livingston, and Iguodala, the latter two’s solid performances last night not withstanding) and the bench is a lot weaker.

I just shuddered at the notion of a simplified FF15 battle system, as that game was already piss-easy.

Personally, I refuse to refer to Aeris as Aeri**.

Dante for Smash?

I don’t think that the Trails games’ NPC dialogue is about conveying plot details, as many of the NPCs don’t actually talk about any of the plot points. A lot of the NPCs have miniature stories that are dissociated from the main plot (and, honestly, I like a lot of the NPC dialogue far more than the main plot in Sky

Chrono Trigger is my favourite game, and I’d say it’s actually shorter than 20 hours. I’ve finished my last few comprehensive playthroughs in less than 18 hours. I often don’t want to spend 100 hours on any game, although some are so good that I end up doing so, anyway.

Every port of Final Fantasy X also lacks the option to skip cutscenes (which would immensely improve the game, since there are two or three challenging boss fights that happen after long cutscenes) and an option for Japanese audio (which would be great since the English dub sucks).

I wouldn’t say that Square was always

I seem to recall a lot more complaints for Chrono Trigger’s Steam release than FFV and FFVI ever received. Personally, I didn’t buy any of them on Steam since I own superior versions for each of these games, so I dunno.

I don’t think it’d be that hard for me to juggle between six RPGs... if I had enough time to play each of them 30-60 minutes a day. Certainly, I could go through several at once if they were RPGs I’d already beaten, like Final Fantasy VI and Chrono Trigger. I’ve tried alternating between new games, but I always

I’m a big fan of the Trails games (not so much the first one, admittedly), but I strongly disagree with the notion that playing JRPGs means waiting 30 hours for the story to get good. Several of my favourite RPGs can be finished in less than 30 hours, and all of my favourites take less than five hours to be

The great thing about finishing Trails in the Sky FC is that there are a ton of sequels that are better than it. I don’t think the first Trails game is all that great, to be honest. Try skipping ahead a few games and playing Trails of Cold Steel if Trails in the Sky isn’t working for you.

I’ve played plenty of RPGs that have way better characters than what SMT games typically offer, and many of them are not that long, either. I thought that Strange Journey had solid characters (the best of any SMT game I’ve played), so I don’t get why the other games in the series can’t do better. SMT IV even started

The game wasn’t really as close as the final score indicated. The Warriors led by 10-13 points for much of the game, and they switched in their best lineup and restored their lead in the few occasions when the Rockets made the score close. The final score seemed closer because the Warriors relaxed in the final minute

This stealing of taxpayer money is why I always want players to receive more money than owners want to give them.

Thor seemed much more into the drinking than the gaming. I wonder how poorly the Fortnite reference will age (or not).

In (kind of) Harden’s defense, Hakeem played during an era where blatant flopping didn’t happen as often because players didn’t need to flop. In the 80s and early 90s, players fell because they got fouled hard. So why would guys like Hakeem and Jordan flop when the other team was happy to shove them to the floor?

That

Harden only got 14 free throw attempts, which was one fewer than Durant, so clearly the game is being called wrong.
