I think there’s more than one reason why the sequel wasn’t as good. Still, Wayne’s World 2 has a couple of moments I find really funny, even if the movie as a whole is disappointing.

Personally, I’m kind of happy that the Academy seems to “get it wrong” almost every year. It’s part of their 90+ year tradition.
