That’s a good question. I had that same carrier for my old bronco btw. It was the cheapest thing you could get from amazon at just over $100 and used a tension bolt pushing directly on the hitch frame to stop wobble.  All in all, kind of an awful design. Just another red flag on this car for me.

That’s interesting. I figure we’ll keep the I3 until the battery is trash or someone totals it in a parking lot. Wonder if the reprogramming app i have will let me limit the max charge. I already charge with a 110 outlet at about 50% of its rated amp draw.

So...you want to charge to something like 80% only to preserve the battery I would presume?  Genuine question here.  I have an I3 and it doesn’t have an option to stop charging at specific % either.
