The I3s have a bunch of little issues that can get expensive quickly if you like all the stuff working in your car perfectly. Rear door latches that report open when they can’t be because they are suicide doors and locked in by the front doors. (body flex and bad sensors). The REX has some known issues from fuel

Did a mid 2k Acura and a brand new BMW have a baby to get that GIANT fish grill?

I really want to like this but 35k for a 12 year old bmw wagon is just insanity. Wagon and manual and all that good stuff doesn’t make it worth 30% more.  This is 10 to 15k over what would be reasonable.

Basic replacement parts like blades are pretty cheap and the protective snap-on shells are as well. I have an original mini (zero avoidance or sensors) and have flown it around like an idiot. They are pretty tough all things considered.  Although mine has basically line of sight range which certainly isn’t 12

In Japan, I can get a land cruiser with 2 doors, cloth seats, a manual and a diesel. It’s the bronco i’ve always wanted, built by toyota. If they offered a base trim level that didn’t cost 80 grand to start, they’d probably sell more...

Luxury....scooter. No.

Allegedly, Alaska employees tested the device’s durability by running it over with a truck.”

As long as one side is legally allowed to lie and obfuscate...in search of the truth...FFS. And the other side isn’t legally allowed to lie to the officer and can be criminally charged for doing so, every (utterly useless) traffic stop should HAVE to be livestreamed. This doesn’t even get into the cops totally

While I generally agree with your sentiment, my steamdeck sleeps and wakes nearly instantly. The only thing that takes a second is the reconnection to the wifi. Push power button and select sleep. Off. Push power button again and it is instantly running and reconnecting to the network. Maybe you are letting the timer

Yup, heaters are brutal on range.  My I3 claims about 25% loss in range but it is more.  The defroster, which needs to stay on depending on the temp and how many people are in the car breathing, robs the car of at least 30% range.  Seat heater plus cracked window works fine if it is just me but you’ll never convince

AC doesn’t work.

But will it run smoothly on a Steamdeck with an emulator?

It didn’t work with the I3. And the I3 is significantly quicker, likely more fun to drive, and probably better built because FCA/Stellantis. Granted the fiat will likely start at 60-70% of the little bmw’s price but still...there are better electrics on the market unless you really need a tiny city car, which rarely

Fair point, but it’s been 20 years since literally no one decided the TSA was a good idea.  Gotta change with the times.

Orrr...and hear me out here, put all that garbage outside the screening area. Maybe even build a mall like setup. Given that malls are all dying as a standalone destination anyway, having one built into an area with a ton of foot traffic seems like a no-brainer.  Could even make a much simpler screening system at the

Not sure how that applies. I don’t want a maverick hybrid, although there is nothing wrong with them. As for Elon, of course freedom of speech is a thing. I don’t want him censored or silenced, but the dude is a huge douche with no concept of how normal people live. He has the freedom of speech to be an assclown, and

You definitely are not alone. I have been shopping for an EV for a while now and picked up an I3 with the range extender as kind of happy middle-of-the-road solution until prices return to normal and I can convince the wife to let me buy a rivian. It is a small car but with the little generator and some software

Wrong order on this.

And the great irony is none of the police departments ever had any money defunded. All of them had budget increases. But hey, their widdle feelings got hurt as we shoveled more money at them so they certainly shouldn’t have to do their jobs.

I’m doing pretty well with my BMW I3. It is tiny, but with a number of software hacks, pretty versatile. Not a lot of space but the rear seats fold flat and I can do a moderate costco run when i need to.  Also, suicide rear doors are pretty handy.
