One of them went bad at 17k miles. Granted that was at 7.5 years.

My 2013 Diavel had 6 less horsepower but more torque then the V4... And the Urban riding mode dropped horsepower to 100 and dialed up the traction control specifically for poor conditions including rain.
So is this like the hybrid sienna in that there is a 2 year wait to get one and even then it’s a maybe?
There are vehicles that still have keys and knobs and minimal electronic intrusion. Maybe don’t buy a tesla if these things are a problem.
So...he invented my BMW with the Rex? Because it has been done and done better since 2014. I get well over 40mpg gas, the motor adjusts for load and auto stops/starts. Also, I don’t have to leave it running overnight and the computer will simply maintain whatever battery level I set between 5% and 75%. Am I missing…
I’m all for new technology and toys but why would anyone want to pay a monthly subscription after $700 up front for what is essentially a kindle glued to the front and rear bumper? Hell the kindles would be cheaper. Also, tell me these wont be stolen like crazy. The issue here is this is not a solution to a…
Except there are loopholes such as time limits that aren’t nearly long enough.
Interesting takes on all this. The bottom line should really be where it is used and asshole vs enthusiast.
Yeah, i should specify that , at least with the fords, pre-sloped hood is the line but I’d like fuel injection so 87.5 till 97 or so. I had the last year bronco with the carb’ed 351W and the C6. Bulletproof and great off-road but totally worthless above 55mph or so. I’d certainly go older if it was in good shape but…
Hope you are right. I need an old beater truck...but I don’t need it that soon. Just want an 80s or 90s 1500 or F series with a fairly solid drivetrain for a couple grand.
Rain sensing wipers. My BMW ONLY has rain sensing and on or off. No intermittent settings. That is my biggest gripe about the car. I get automating stuff but even the adjustable wiper speeds never get it exactly right. I miss my old bronco that had a knob you could rotate that did not have notches. It was…
Totally agree with this in theory but there are some exceptions. My BMW for example, has the nav, which is totally useless. But it does display the speed limit on any given road it has in it’s maps next to my speedometer, which isn’t always accurate but can be super helpful. I’d love one without the other and my…
While the battery life is excellent, how is my phone with a razer kishi not arguably on par with this device? And for 50 bucks more, the bottom level steam deck is a huge step up, especially if you want some non internet games...

Ahh, fair enough. Let me clarify that I’m only talking about stickers that are not required to legally operate the vehicle. We have stickers around here for toll bridges and stuff (although I even refuse to do that as they can just bill me with a license plate pic and it’s the same price.)
Yeah, that seems reasonable. You feel the need to ruin your car with stickers, especially pride ones: state, region, religion, stupidly expensive educational institutions that patent the word “The”...
This is the first thing I thought of. A modern Tenchu would make me very happy.
Seriously. The interior is...not terrible...but if feels like they wanted retro and just decided to leave out nice things. Why is there only a tiny analog clock? Why does the dash computer not have an option to show your speed when the gauges are small and set very far back? Why does the cruise control not have any…
Submitted for your approval, the Lexus NX200t F-Sport.
This is the take I had for the Acura. No one will look twice at that car, or even once really. It is utterly forgettable. Good car? Sure. Interesting or noticeable? Not even the smallest bit. Source, I’ve owned 4 Acura’s now and the only one that ever got any comments or head turns was my ‘90 Legend.
Because it isn’t the same? When the market was terrible for dealers, were they marking the cars down 60, 80, 90%? Of course not. I get the whole “capitalism” thing but can we at least put blocks in to stop horrendous price gouging and crazy predatory practices?
