2nd Gear Start
atchawaii

I just did this...but I work at the airport so I just call myself an asshole and go back to sleep.  So much easier then complaining to other people.

Does it though...?

I’m sure you are right but isn’t that what the low range is for? I have the tallest gear set for my pickup and I still start in second because 1st is good for maybe 5mph.  Cant even imagine how terrible the 4:10 would be.  In low range, I’m not convinced you could see it move in 1st without time lapse photography.

I feel your pain.  I’ve had 2 frontiers with the 4x4. The worst part is you cant even turn around to slither away because there isn’t enough room.

True that the jeep gets better then it’s counterparts. I did mention that, but despite the small curves at the edges, I would put forth that the brick-ness (should totally be a measure of lack of aerodynamics) of an HD pickup far exceeds the jeep in terms of being terrible. The bumper and grill profile is probably as

Good god those fuel economy numbers just as a whole...Glad they finally got the jeep in line with 8000 lb HD pickups for fuel economy. I was gonna make a comparison but the new defender and G class are worse so...yeah...

So I pretty much always back in for two reasons:

Shout out to the Thinkware F800 Pro. The only cam I’ve found that can survive every day in the Hawaii heat. The batteries in the other ones I have tried all failed within months. The F800 uses a capacitor and is much more capable of dealing with heat extremes.

Amazing condition!! For a rolling pile of shit. $50....on the high side. I’d rather drop 10k on gamestop...or meth.

Hot take: Oblivious moron in rolling road hazard (RV) totally destroys his jeep (further proof of moronship) by dragging it behind RV until engine, transmission, and axles are destroyed.  Get’s what he deserved.

An electric RAV-4...can they make it a reasonable size at least? I suppose I should look it up but the Y is a bit bigger I think, or at least it sure seems that way with the more usable doors. My wife has the Lexus NX, which is a RAV 4 with some leather, and it is poorly designed and doesn’t have enough space...but at

So...I have around 1000lbs of motor and accessory weight over my front axle...batteries there are fine. Just need to know what this would cost and the distance I would get once it is installed. It wont get anywhere near the 600+ my cummins gets but I could see it being enough with at least a couple hundred. And as a

I mentioned in a previous post that someone’s cousin/brother/whatever managed to get them the contract for the HMMV replacement for the military even though other companies had superior offerings and this post office vehicle contract is no different.

That reminds me of when I bought a leaf.  The sales guy knew and told me ahead of time that he was about to offer me some stupid shit.  Then told me about the oil change program he was required to push on me.

Racism in Texas? Say it ain’t so!! Holy shit!! I’m white and I had to deal with a level of condescension that I’ve NEVER experienced anywhere else in my life, and I lived in Hawaii for 23 years where I was nothing but a “fucking haole”. Texas is a fucking shit-hole and should be sold to Mexico for $30.  Make it $25.

“..Quality Chrysler..”  This is exactly how you know the level of shady.  (Hint: ALL the shady)

It has compression brakes already.  I have them on my ram and I cant imagine living without them anymore.  I touch the brakes and as long as the RPMs are over 1000, they kick in.  I cant imagine worrying about the brakes on my truck till well over 100k miles and I used to do a 6000ft climb and descent every day for

The Oshkosh Next Generation Delivery Vehicle...”

Exactly. Although the Lexus ownership experience is a joke in the United States. You get treated like royalty in Japan.

I don’t understand this mentality. I’ve been trying to convince my wife to give up her lexus NX (the smallest SUV they make) for a minivan of some variety. We have 3 kids. Two in full size car seats, and they do not fit in her tiny little hateful car. I have a full size pickup and everyone fits fine but we don’t
