Have these gone back up?  I was looking at an early 2000s continental GT with 35k miles for....35k.  You’d assume it would be good for at least another 35k or so before any major issues and it beats the hell out of driving a high end camry for the same price.

Japan seems like a place you live a few years, have the experience and then get out, not unlike New York City.”

Wow...so I guess this is where my mind is at. The article mentioned a “screen” for the passenger and I thought: “Oh cool, screens for the windows when they are down? That’s amazing for offroading and camping.”

All true. I’d be much more interested in the land cruiser anyway which, like your euro market car with a domestic version example, would be much easier to get away with. The clatter of the diesel would give it away of course, but without being in a fanboi arena like an offroading club, it is extremely unlikely anyone

Much cheaper to find and purchase a wrecked rental fleet vehicle, but yes, the G35 is certainly a better way to go.

I have a feeling the original manufacturer would take issue with that if you tried to sell any...but I like where your head is at. I’ve often wondered how hard it would be to get an R34 GTR titled as a salvage sentra kit car if you happened to purchase a wrecked sentra and trailered the GTR in from canada. States like

X number of low volume vehicles don’t have to be crash tested to be sold in the US. Then why do I need to wait 25 years to import something that wasn’t sold in the US because the manufacturer didn’t want to crash test it years ago? Fuck the chicken tax and fuck the 25 year rolling BS and the rules that only apply some

That is the ugliest paint job I think I have ever seen on the front of a car...and that is saying something. Someone would have to pay me to drive that...and it would need to be a lot of money.

And there is the inherent problem with the whole system.

I was wondering about this myself. A coworker of mine bought a car and due to some screw up in the paperwork, the title showed up in the mail with no leinholder even though he financed the vehicle.

Has there been a trump speech/rally since the 2016 campaign started where some musical artist hasn’t been surprised to find their music being used without permission?  Seems like a regular thing.

Why would I want a failed dumpster fire of a city printed on my...oh jeep...right. Got it.

The problem with all the little boxes/sticks is they all have their own little area in the sandbox and work with some things only. My amazon cube will run ATT tv...the rokus wont. The rokus show less commercials on youtube. The rokus technically can use spectrum’s tv app but because I pay for internet and not the tv

Can you speed in a Karmann Ghia? My dad’s TR3-A has around 100 horsepower...and is great fun but it falls in line with the stock miata idea...driving a slow car “fast”. Fun without going to jail.... 40 horsepower is slow without being able to go to jail? My lawnmower has half the power of that car. Dont get me wrong,

Huh.  Duke Nukem...you’d think there would have been a problem with the video game series.  Or if it is the same guy...duke would have won.

God this all fucking day long.

That’s a good point.  I’ll bet they are working on a way to shove the coyote 5.0 in there though.  I would guess there is a demand for it.  First and/or second year sales will tell the real story though.

Not if I want it to sound like a V8.  Power isnt the issue.  It never was.  The 3.5 is totally overkill.. but I’d rather have a seriously downtuned 5.0 with flowmasters then a high strung turbo 6.  Not looking to go fast in a bronco.  Part of the experience for me would be the rumble of the engine as I roll down the

Guess I should have added the /s.  The raptor started with a V8...and then went to a 6.  The power was never an issue but the sound from the exhaust was a major complaint moving to the smaller motor.

Exactly, the power was never the point.  I had an old carb’ed 87 with the 351w and I truly miss the sound.  It wasn’t quick, it wasn’t fast, but it made a satisfying rumble and had plenty of torque for trail crawling.  It is just nostalgia I’m looking for basically, with some modern conveniences...like over 7mpg.
