OMG this format can burn in hell. What the fuck?

Oh now, don’t be so quick to name the worst part. If the Xterra has a turning radius that is even close to the frontier...that is easily the worst part of the vehicle.
That is true, but then they should have bought Ducati a few years back and gone with the high end Italian stuff out of the gate.
This is why I never buy a phone from the carrier. My phone has “5G” according to AT&T but the actual software reports LTE....because that’s what it really is, and an 8 series samsung cant do real 5G anyway.
OMG yes! Because overpriced, loud, and unreliable was doing SO well!! Please make less and charge more. Down that hole straight to hell.
Hah, fair point! Just cant get away from the FCA “quality”.
As an owner of an FCA product...Yeah, pretty much. I was backed into a corner though. I wanted a manual transmission in a truck which narrowed my choices to one. I fully expect the FCA parts to fall off and leave me nothing but a cummins engine and mercedes transmission I’ll have to bolt a seat to by year 7. The…
True, but when the same car used has been sold and repossessed 5 or 6 times and has already been paid off 3x by the previous owners in interest fees and down payments...when is the company forced to stop collecting? I get the idea behind it but there should probably be some regulation that limits collections once the…
Oh I forgot about that. Most of the parts were sourced from the Opel Omega. The interior was a bit nicer and I’m not sure if the Opel had the winter button for the traction control and such gimmicks.
That caddy was a piece of shit, but I still loved it. If the computer hadn’t completely died, I might still have it.
Not just a VW thing. The late 90s caddy catera had a half scissor and I used it once, in a dark parking lot, because I had no other choice. I took every precaution I could, knowing it was a terrible design, and it STILL slipped and dropped the car on the rotor and nearly on me. It was only dumb luck and reflexes that…
First of all, I had no idea this thing had open diffs. Who dafuq puts big power without at least some form of limited slip, even if it was a computer and some brake trickery? Oh right...FCA.
As someone who owned one of those...and an M3 of the same year, that is fucking terrifying. The beamer felt planted and ready to race all the time. 80 mph through a 25mph marked corner was well within its ability and 120+ was just a throttle blip away. The car was in its element going fast and the computers were smart…
The 4x4's have a different gearing in the transmission. They can do a reliable 55mph all day long, where the 6x6 cruise is 45ish. As for horrible to drive...well...take a jeep and make it worse...or just compare it to a really old CJ with no options.
The place in Arkansas still sells them but it seems like inventory is down a bit and the prices have gone up maybe 10-20% in the last 10 years or so. I actually bought mine there and drove it to Oakland to ship it to hawaii. Now that was a road trip. Middle of winter, heat exchanger for a heater...which is to say..no…
If it is anything like my 08 M3 was, 4 little bolts pop it off and the car has folding covers already built into the roof so you cant tell at a glance that it ever had one. I would put it on to haul the surf board and take it off when I got home. Super simple.
They get a lot less tippy when there is no back on them but yes, all of that is true. The 6 wheel models do a pretty good job of making up for wheel lift, in the back at least. I had mine passed 45 degrees sideways a couple times and it is kind of a nerve wracking experience, but she never tipped.
Or...well if you are really crazy that is...buy an ex military truck out of Europe. I had a 6x6 pinzgauer. Cost me roughly 1/3 of the rubicon base, was better offroad in every conceivable way, AND...it was still terrible and uncomfortable on the highway. Once the ambulance box was removed, it was way less likely to…
The stress is real and people who have never owned one don’t really understand. Now, it depends on personality of course. My wife never cared because I was driving and I always got us where we were going and home again...but seeing that battery dipping below 10%...being used to phones and other toys that would…
Hahaha, no recon on the big island. I went through that ClusterF* on Oahu with my old pinzgauer. They just made up stupid rules as they went along. Told me I had to change tires, speedometer...light colors. All were legal but since they couldn’t locate it in their book, they had to be assholes somehow. Over here,…
