Cant star this enough. I really want one in two door form with the diesel but I’m not sure I can sell the wife on giving up my truck for something that is waaaaaay less practical for the family.

Why not a couple big steel springs like...errr...an old bronco? Mine was 35 years old and those springs still held up the hood just fine.
For the size, it is a freelander v2? Because that was such a reliable and awesome vehicle...
True enough. I guess they just feel short to me at 6'1". My jetta was a sportwagen which puts the top of the racks at 59.2 and hers is the shortest NX at 64.8 but that is still half a foot.
But are they? My wife’s lexus NX is a crossover...and it is everything I dislike about the segment...but it is no taller then my VW Jetta TDI was. It is just shorter (lengthwise), less comfortable, less fuel efficient, less...everything good or useful basically.
As the previous owner of a stupidly low mileage (26k original miles), all numbers matching 66 vette, I wholeheartedly agree. You feel like you shouldn’t touch the damn thing. I did truly enjoy having a beer in the garage and looking at the beauty but it was finicky as fuck, the period correct tires were garbage, and…
Now, I’m not going to say this has anything to do with John Oliver doing an entire segment on how Chris had a hard time signing off at the end of each show just last night on “Last Week Tonight”, but I will say that I have certainly noticed a slow degradation in Matthews’ mental quickness on the show. Not a dig…
That is very true. I like the lights in the vehicle pretty dim at night, but I also live in a rural area that has next to zero street lights. Used to see every third car with no lights on at night when I lived near a city and every road was lit.
As someone that drove across the US doing 45mph in a military 6x6, it can be a lot of fun...but it is certainly not for everyone.
This, except it is basically the opposite now and should still be completely noticeable.
Fun fact: Pushing the dome light off button (either 4 or 6 times in a row) would turn off the daytime running lights. I constantly got shit when I was in the army from the gate guards because they want you to drop to running lights only when you pull up. That 2000 blazer I had was a hot pile of garbage compared to the…
I still wouldn’t want to take one through Sapporo and even in the more rural area like where my in-laws live, it would not even fit in their driveway. Granted, there is a lot of farmland out there too.
$7500 per 100k miles seems like a lot at first glance but it is heavier as the miles climb. Also, for most people, replacing the entire second row of seats to the tune of 5k wouldnt have happened.
I get where you are coming from but people are, by and large, stupid or ignorant. There is no single, high dollar purchase, you will ever make in your life that has the odds so stacked against you. To say that car sales from beginning to end are predatory is an understatement. Everyone from the sales person to the…
It is partially about delivery too. My Diavel has (had actually) 162 hp. While that is significant, it was difficult to raise the front wheel or do anything crazy other then simply controlled acceleration. The traction control did a good job, as did the ABS. I also left those systems on and used the touring mode…
Add an option to drone strike the ones coming from overseas and I’m in. It still baffles me that if I answer and get mad at these people, they start cussing me out. The are literally trying to steal from me and they get mad when I say no or calmly suggest they go fuck whatever animal it is that they worship in their…
Was mystic quest final fantasy? Not really.
Picture of phone but equipment....equipment.....equipment......equipment..
I still have all of mine...and the toolbox city (different from the van city) and the aircraft carrier...and the C-130...and the dual level car carrier...and about 20 of the mini playsets that snap together...and the insiders ones with the tiny cars...and the special order gold set of corvettes... Sounds like a lot…
Oh I’m sure there are discounts but the article listed the msrp straight from the manufacturer’s website so I did the same as an apples to apples comparison...well I rounded up about 70 bucks but close enough on 31k. The point is they are similarly priced from the factory.
