That is only partly true.  Even the ranger with 4 doors and 4 wheel drive bases at 31k and the gladiator can only be had that way.

Now I want an electric Syclone....

I like the idea and am not scared of high mileage cars but my peter tingle...err spidey sense is tingling.  10k price drop in as many miles on a 9 year old car is a giant red flag with a spot light on it.  Gotta trust my gut.  CP.

Hot take.  It is a horrible looking vehicle and I wouldn’t pay a dollar for one.  It isn’t a good SUV, Wagon, or anything really.  What it really needs is another 3 feet of hood because why just stop at stupid when you can be ridiculous?

Yeah, that is my issue too. It simply won’t be big enough for my needs, most likely, and I’d prefer an 8 to a 4 or 6. Nothing wrong with the smaller motor but a high strung turbo 4 or 6 has more complexity and is more likely to break long term.

Well that is a hot take. My late 80s bronco was much more useful then a 4 door jeep. More cargo space, bigger back seat, better turning radius. Arguably better off road (depending on terrain)...

I’m not saying I’m considering the same thing but a 2 door, diesel 4wd land cruiser or a jimny are certainly part of the reason that I’ve been looking at different jobs.

Oh god, the game gear.  6 double A’s I think for a good 20 minutes of play time...  Still loved that thing.  Backlit screen...sonic...

The trapezoid bezel with the rectangle screen....*twitch*.  Just bothering me and I don’t really know why.

Well, now that is kind of a grey area. My dad is a pretty good mechanic, so he kept up with it as best he could...but since he never drove it, any problem was probably exacerbated greatly by the lack of knowledge. It is hard to maintain an older and daily driven car if you aren’t the one driving it. Little noises and

Not sure I agree with all the sentiments and opinions in this piece and I’m not looking to argue a yes or no to any of them...BUT:

2. Two. Less then 3 replied, and you were one of them. I wasn’t baiting anyone. I didn’t knock the small block 350 at all, I said my mother is a bad driver. My reply to ruralphd specifically says the speedo tops at 85. Exceeding this is obviously not what the machine was designed for. This was before you replied and de

Woah, slow down there chief. Gearing matters. I’m not bad-mouthing the motor at all. It is a tried and true design. That old truck’s speedo stops at 85. Running it at 90 is asking close to redline. And yes, running a motor at lower rpms, say 50% and below of the rated max will keep it alive a LOT longer then running

1989 K5 Blazer. Automatic trans. Pretty solid setup until you hand it to someone that doesn’t understand that pedals have variable positions and aren’t on/off switches. Also, the speedo tops out at 85 and she regularly buries it on the freeway. I am not sure if it has been rebuilt three times, or the block has been

I’ve never understood the brand loyalty. My parents were die hard chevy fans but my mom blew up her small block 350 3 times now because she drives like a retard. Loved my bronco no matter how rusty it was because it never left me stranded. Now I drive a ram because cummins and manual....but 5 recalls deep and their QC

Another comment on someone that went through the lemon law process in Hawaii. It can take a long time. I drove a base model nissan sentra for 6 months while they swapped every part out of my brand new 05 frontier they could think of, to include a full engine swap. I had to push it all the way to the arbitration date

“...flight attendants are fully aware of who should be sat in each respective seat in a premium section.” Don’t discount this either. Flight attendants who work 1st class on most airlines are required to memorize the seating assignments and names of the premium passengers. The flight attendants who are having a shitty

I really want to vote NP for the cool factor but that is really clean 240/260/280z/zx money which ticks all the same boxes for me (fast back, louvers, 70s-80s style, 6 cyl, manual) except the doors, but with more reliability and fun.

Since all the robo calls I get are spoofed local numbers, I can see this either having no effect, or fines start showing up in the mail to random people who were unlucky enough to have their number pop up in the generator.

Make sure to do a little research if you swap them out. The first gen’s compatible with...well a certain system of questionable legality...are going for more then they cost new.  I think I saw something silly like 600ish if it came with the add-on a few weeks ago.
