counterpoint: Diesel jeep that doesn’t look like ever other jeep in history is awesome.

That is one thing I really liked about my leaf. The AC was amazing and just worked all the time. It didn’t get weak with low rpms, it didn’t take a few minutes to start blowing cold enough. If I finished my shopping quickly, I could sit in the car while it was charging with the AC on.
Back in ‘98, a buddy and I hopped in my old S-10 blazer and set off from CDA Idaho to Seattle to catch a Fatboy Slim concert. Being dumb college kids, we were abusing the shit out of that 4.3 Vortec, doing 85ish in the fast lane of I-90 as we came up on the state line heading into Washington. There was some traffic…
“Leave traffic enforcement to the police.” If only they actually did their job. It is certainly not worth getting into vehicle fights on the highway but it does make one rather jaded when a person follows the rules consistently, only to watch dangerous and stupid people totally ignore them and get away with it day…
Of course it is highest in Idaho. FFS. I’m so glad I left that state as soon as possible.
Ok, so I didnt see it anywhere. Does it open like a hatchback or is it completely useless? I’m guessing I just missed where it said it.
I have been following these little things for years and I will have one if I can get the job in Japan my wife wants me to get.
I wish I could upgrade the head unit in my truck but guess where all the settings are? From the triple flash turn signals to the dome lights to the auto locks. All in that completely awful durge radio...

Worse then cowboys fans? (trick question: Nothing is worse.) Or even eagles fans, who boo injured players? I’m not defending the new england MAGAs but to say they are the worst? Maybe 3rd or 4th worst...
“Brake pedal falls off.”
I usually don’t aggressively dislike car looks but so much of this is just off to me. The grill, lights...stair step mirrors... I don’t know, it just all fits together to make it worse then it should be.
He might get more utility out of a couple big pickups and trailers over vans and a single oversized vehicle. Just a random guess though.
Yeah, I’m not a fan of that. Even with the traction control turned “off”, it still fights any kind of acceleration from a dead stop that doesn’t involve using a calendar as measurement. Once in a while, I’d like to actually go. From a rolling start, no problem.
Of course this thing is in Idaho. $15k is crack price for me even before the all caps and “GONE THRUE” and that amazing spelling is enough for me to move on to the next listing without a second thought.
Oddly, the 700ish in my Ram 2500 feels a bit light but I think the computer is reluctant to put the power to the road with the manual transmission. I know the merc transmission is tried and true but it is a pretty heavy down tuning from the normal slushbox setup. Zero to any speed takes planning and patience and…
Diesel trucks? There are a lot of them that would probably end up towing the camry to the scrap yard. A couple hundred thousand on the big 3 diesels is pretty normal for the past...what...20 years or so at least.
Almost always.
This. I got the bed cover so that it works as a trunk. Keeps out the rain and thieves...and I can fit 2000 lbs of concrete blocks and mix with it closed... I got accused of not using my truck as a “truck” one day at the gas station and the dude shut up quick staring at 40 cinder blocks and 10 bags of mix when I opened…
Might even be able to beat that at that huge dealership in north idaho...biggest dealer in the world for durges, or so they claim.
My favorite was clicking continue, getting halfway through the loading screen and then...Desktop. Repeat. ONE time it got through it and started the intro scene. 4 seconds later: Desktop. I am really interested in the game but it has to actually start before I can make a determination. Maybe my sad little…
