Certain newer german cars too. My C63's computer would just open up the exhaust to start. It sounded like an angry old truck V8 with straight pipes for a few seconds on a cold start. An extremely satisfying sound, especially in my parking garage, that I always missed on a warm start.

Does your tailgate fill up with water if you leave it open in the rain?  Mine does and I’m really curious as to how long before it rusts apart...It hasn’t fallen open yet, but the engine management computer and throttle by wire system completely failed already.
