oddly enough, i appreciate this write up. But shit man, it sounds rough.

i only got 39 seconds in. The engine sounded like it was in pain and i couldn’t bare it.

Sucks that yall got taken out but damn 8 stages with a fresh car is freakin fantastic. Hope the damage is all replaceable and not structural.

if they don’t functionally add what they’ve learned here to their other “sports-model” cars without just taking design queues and pasting them on then i don’t know what they’re doing. This thing will sell, no doubt, but the down market appeal of their other cars would skyrocket.

It would require a chassis redesign if you plan to live long enough while driving it to enjoy.

Possibly construct a rollbar and incorporate the gullwing mechanism into it. You could get fancy and start with a dual hoop design and then add sprouts by the outside of them to connect the door hinge to. You’d also have to

ah. That definitely went right over my head.

savage

yeah it may just be a personal design thing but i hate lights that are circular but the circles don’t fit in their housing. square peg-round hole type irk.

It’s... SO BEAUTIFUL T.T

Even better they could load up each of their current trunk engines in the bed or their most popular cuz that’s a lot of engines. OOO they could load em up pyramid style with pallets. That’s a win.

Now playing

they didn’t have the clipboard person strapped to the car making sure it was actually doing the whole race and not swapping out drivers mid-way.

it really does tho xD

1st Gear: I love everything happening in this sphere.

They also have the I6 they’re working on so probably stretched thin for budgets. Gotta keep operating costs inline and alla that.

LET’S FREAKIN GO!!

Would be awesome if they were testing out new hardware for a new Camaro. Not sure how designing a new one around the older footprint would be so drivetrain seems to be the best deal here.

^this one gets it 100%

that’s some nice automotive design. Fits for a chevy but upscale up enough for the nameplate.
