If this meant to be a jab at r/whatisthiscar, then kudos. By far the most annoying subreddit to start showing up in my feed.

I’ve never liked that dude. An industry shill only wanting attention and making The Game Awards out to be the biggest ego stroke with the only other person he is willing to share any ounce of limelight with being Kojima. It is cringeworthy at this point.

I think it’s telling how seriously the “awards show” aspect is taken when you’ve got plenty of celebrity appearances hocking their upcoming projects/products for minutes at a time, while the folks winning the awards are quickly ushered off stage.

That’s not to say celebrities don’t belong on the Game Awards stage; just

I still buy physical media all the time. WB can delist Goodfellas off of Max so they can license it out to another service for a few months, but they can’t delist my anniversary Blu-Ray off my shelf!

I don’t want to live in a world where I love Mythbusters and Dirty Jobs so much that I need to buy the series (physical or digital) just so I could watch it when whenever I want because the endless marathons on Discovery for both series over the years couldn’t scratch that itch. And don’t get me wrong, I love

I never stopped collecting those.  I’m glad people are finally starting to realize that physical media isn’t as irrelevant as most people think, though.

Why would they take it out of him to put it in themselves?

Everything seems political nowadays” - I thought this was only uttered by right-wingers afraid of diversity, so sad to see it in this review.

Companies and people doing damage control criticism of the clown is different than companies and people actually refusing to give him any more money.

As a dev, let me just say big L-O-L at “inflation” being the reason. It’s corporate greed, period. You think those profits go back to the devs?

So rising prices of gaming primarily goes to increased development costs.”

Just false. Maybe take a look at how many layoffs there have been this year.

Glen’s election was the first, in the line of many, WOKE-LASH, against THE SOCIALISTS!

It’s fun watching them try to square this circle. They can’t talk about abortion anymore. The one thing they always had in their pocket as a sure fire way to motivate their base is gone. And they are only now discovering just how deeply unpopular these policies are because they never had to worry before Roe V Wade

(Virginia voter here)

Will they learn from this, the 300th lesson?  Somehow, I highly doubt it ... which is fine with me because it means the GOP will just continue to lose any races which are truly competitive and not gerrymandered to hell  and back.

I know it is unkind to gloat, but I’m an Ohioan and GODDAMN does this feel good tonight. Republicans in Ohio have had their boots on the necks of us women for far to long, and it has been excruciating listening to their whinging for the past few months about how “extreme” and “radical” it is to ensure that women can

Dear GOP: Turns out access to abortion and weed are popular. Please continue to oppose these things to your own detriment.

Anyone with an inkling of New York society or real estate knew the guy was an utter clownshoe. Hell, every contractor in the city and the surrounding state wouldn’t touch a property of his (and his shell companies) with a 10 foot cattle prod because he NEVER paid. There are lawyer firms that won’t even let him through

So, it should tell you something about the state of the Democratic Party that this man is presently polling ahead of President Biden in key swing states.

Would be nice if the official pro controllers weren’t apparently the most fragile thing in existence, and cost a relative arm+leg.

I would like all these scalpers and their apologists to get a lifelong disease, but not one that is life-threatening, just really uncomfortable.

It would be fitting. We don’t need Pokemon cards or other fun stuff to live, but it just really sucks we can’t just buy fun things without having to fight them for it.
