New conspiracy theory: Part of EA and Disney’s deal to let other developers make Star Wars games was that Disney could only contract with terrible developers.

Most of the so-called “deals” for Black Friday are pretty much junk. Low quality good just to get you in the door, raising prices months before the “sale” so the “special” price is what the regular price was in July. I noticed this on a lot of tools, when I was able to purchase them for a lot less earlier in the year.

Everything to do with retail is technically a scam, right down to the physical design of the store. It’s all designed with the sole objective of getting you to part with the most money possible for the least amount of cost on their part. Black Friday is just the most obvious example.
