Knee-jerk stupidity is America’s first and longest-running past time. In fact, the only thing ‘exceptional’ about a previous era of knee-jerk stupidity, McCarthyism, was that it was given a name instead of being acknowledged as the default state of Americans.

This is a law that, if passed, will be easily capable of indicting just about everyone in the US that uses *any* kind of social media within a few years of passing if law enforcement pushed on it.

This has always baffled me... that Republicans overlooked (consciously or otherwise) the fact that Trump was on the Republican ticket just because that’s what would get him elected. Or that Republicans and Trump supporters wouldn’t admit that every Trump action only served Trump.  Not the country or the Republican…

I really enjoyed it. These assholes (Kemp, Raffensberger, Sterling etc.) probably voted for Trump in 2016, watched Trump and his supporters treat people like this for 4 years and then voted for Trump again this year. I have no sympathy for them given that this is a situation that they’ve created for themselves.

It’s good righteous anger. But it will do nothing. The Republicans have to do so much more to reign in their base instead of catering to and enabling those most on the extremes. Like what he said but far beyond that, there needs to be actual leadership. Not just people looking for votes. 

well the movie itself is “meh,” I still watch it every year bc Carrey’s Grinch is a messy bitch who lives for Drama and I identify with him. hate everyone? check. love my own little living space and wonder why I ever leave? check. scheduling in time to stare into the abyss? double check.

Seuss would have hated this film, but I still laughed a fair amount. The early scenes with Carrey just being a total dick to everyone are funny.
