Right. Some of the plots they threw in there were zombie boilerplate, when the comic has so many better things they could have tapped into. I hope they get their act together next season.

So, rather than limit their use until there is a framework in place to ensure these things are used properly, they are just going to let the Tasers fly and only investigate cases where there is likely going to be press coverage.

@Serge.: If he's such a moron, how is it everyone thinks he's capable of determining Lori is pregnant from her blood test?

@Kiamat: To be fair, the comic does have prominent minority characters (Morgan, Glenn, Tyreese, Michonne), but characters get added gradually. The show has just had enough time to introduce some of the main characters and dynamics of the show, and haven't been able to delve into the side stories of the cannon fodder.

@AldoraGreel: Then his linking a downed power grid and reliance on fossil fuels makes no sense. The source of the fuel is really unrelated to the grid. If the grid goes down that would screw nuclear power as well.

@AldoraGreel: I said it wrong, but he clearly meant France had run out of juice before the U.S. labs, when France would most likely outlast the U.S.

Con - tries to make a hamfisted shot at oil dependence, but mentions France ran out of energy first, even though France is like 90% nuclear.

What I didn't like about the episode is that they trace Fauxlivia to the typewriter store, find the laptop, get the guy to spill the beans, and then totally leave the guy alone. If you are the feds and find someone linked to infiltrators from another dimension, are you going to just let him go back to his business,

@CaffineFreakUs: The Republicans have said they won't pass anything other than tax cuts, and the Dems seems to be helping them by pushing bullshit laws like this rather than something important.

$100k doesn't sound like all that much actually. How much would they lose in broadcast revenues and DVD purchases and rentals if people just waited for Netflix to have it?

Yet last week Gawker was giving tips on how to forge documents.

I found it stupid that they went into the debris field before their debris field uncombobulator software tells them what is there.

Why doesn't the Watcher just mentally force the bossman to give him the green juice? Does this mean the bossman has his own powers to block the Watcher?

@MavrixWK: I disagree. If people know the cause they are going to want a cure and then the show turns into that. They already blew it in the first episode where Morgan explained bites will kill you. The comic played up the fact that they didn't know what bites did or if naturally deceased people will return.

Dear god, she looks like Priscilla Presley now!

@Bongoes: What if it's like 13 Monkeys? The Aliens from the future are monitoring communications from the past and then sending Bruce Willis back to die in front of himself.

@Deadp00l: Perhaps they stopped looking at the developments in the comic. The comic is designed to go on forever, but obviously a TV show has to end. Perhaps they just picked a point in the comic and said "this is going to be the endpoint of the show, and we'll develop all storylines towards that end." If they did

@bob_d: This is going to end up being Catwoman - the bad guy is a pharmaceutical company looking to make people young forever.
