At least you get to exchange discs til the cows come home. Or break them, and have them be replaced, because at least they do that.

Seriously, though, I was mostly agreeing to the glitchy part.

Ours is still staffed by awesome people, though the guy who used to be manager also ran Game Crazy when it was in town, and he’d know us since we were early teens and I had just met my SO in High School. We still see him around town, and he treats us like his own kids.

The new manager’s fantastic too, same with the

TBH, Heavy Rain regularly crashed my SO’s parent’s PS3, and was virtually unplayable on it... so I can see it happening. But they probably didn’t actually mean Heavy Rain (and our experiences with it), it’s jsut a blanket statement that reminded me of that game.

Seriously, no idea why that console was allergic to that

I was hoping for more time, but once the liver’s gone...

Still, this has me gutted. Rest in peace, old friend.

Her Marth, too.

Yes, and if you think that movie’s a trip (you should watch it), you should also sit and power down through one of Tezuka’s manga, Phoenix. It’s a mind trip, a really good one, but I’ve read nothing else quite like it. There’s no way to explain it, just experience it.

Had this the first time around, picked up the remake, too! No regrets, I’m loving it jsut as much as my first playthrough. :)

My take on XIII is that it had some extremely interesting concepts that were overtrodden by the game’s overly slow pacing and monotony. I adore FFX, and I love all the story ideas it had, because it was so unique, and the ending will make me cry, too.

Just FFX had more to do than run here, fight, repeat. That was

Leaving this here, as an awesome cover of the Black Mages version that goes back to the more laid back arrangement of Zanakard from the game. It makes it all the better.

They’ve done several good covers of FF songs, BTW. I found them through their cover of Melodies of Life.

My take on XIII is that it had some extremely

Not boring, just different. And yes, I know I’m old. :)

I haven’t played it yet, tho my SO owns it. It all sounds a lot like King of Dragon Pass in a way. KODP is a somewhat punishing but fun game about leading your village back from the brink after being exiled from their aboriginal homeland. A lot of it less citybuilding and more storybuilding and storytelling, having to

It was. Always needed an excuse for more explosions.

TBF, Sym has a very short effective range. She has a longer range in her Energy Ball, but since it’s so slow, it’s not hard to dodge with most heroes.

She’s also not that strong without her shield boosts, and can be easily taken care of if she’s on you. Even with all the jump dodging moves I have to pull off to do it.

Everyone’s talking about how long spring took to come for them, and down in the High Desert of CA I’ve been in 80's/90's for the last two weeks. :)

Funny thing is that is a long time for spring to come. Usually I start seeing flowers bloom in February, not April!

Thanks for reminding me of the time we reached the skull in Sand Trap by loading so many objects in Forge that it bugged out the Guardians and it no longer shot lasers at us on the edge of the map. Mines forever.

I do. It shows us places that were once planned, things that never got finished. OTOH, I’ve been in this glitching thing longer than some people on the site have been alive.

Pretty much this. I became obsessed with glitching with Ocarina of Time (seam walking, bottle adventure, beta quest and crooked cart) and Pokemon (MissingNo, naturally. To a looser extent, using a Gameshark to walk out of bounds and seeing duplicate areas, or triggering unused and half broken events like genuinely

Yeah, totally not a fan. I can’t find a job to save my life, but don’t have enough money to move. I live in a town where you need to know someone to get a job, and I know several people, but this has gotten me nowhere. Even the local comic shop, of which their main employee recommended me, wouldn’t take me.

I spent

Persona 3 had a little more variety, in that regard. Not much, but Shinji, along with various NPCs, had different body proportions.
