I agree, the vita is an indy machine, this is an indy game, and it doesn’t need the switch’s hardware advantage to perform well for something like this. That’s where the OLED gives it the advantage.

Must not have the OG vita then, plus having a real d-pad is nice too.

Bummer, while I enjoy that I can take my switch away from a wall socket, and that the resolution is a bit higher, the joycons are just hand cramp city for me. I guess I’ll go with the vita version, it’s not quite as hand crampy as the switch, and the screen is better looking anyway.

Obviously you would avoid climbing things after you’ve learned the mechanics. However, because the game doesn’t teach the mechanic to you in a controlled way, it can happen in a very inconvenient way, which is bad design.

As an adult with things to do, it was cute for 5 minutes, then I just fast traveled and did something else. I don’t have time to run somewhere for 15 minutes and then get stuck on a cliff for a half hour. Same goes for having no system for telling what content is doable. It’s not fun to go into a trial and break

Joycons are the worst console controllers in the last 12 years. Loaded with tech, but their forced“versatility” makes it impossible to get the basics right. I can’t believe they sell half a pair for $50. Everyone I know who got a switch is recommending only getting additional pro controllers (which are also

In an industry packed with Indy games, am I really supposed to be impressed by 76 titles in development? Sony released over 100 titles in the first year of the ps4 and it felt barren, because most of them were Indy titles. Nintendo was enthusiastic about 3rd party support on the Wii U, as were developers, and the Wii

3rd party support is dead out of the gate. There are huge 3rd party blockbusters that are coming out for everything but the switch, and the developers that are supporting it are mostly studios that have lower graphic fidelity (like NIS) that are already released the games they release on PS4 on handhelds. The 3DS

Mike Fakie, backwards versions of normal reviews.

Their system needed to be more powerful. 3rd party on the switch is dead out of the gate that makes it more work to port, and people with other systems will not bite for the inferior versions. Sure, if the install base is huge studios will probably try it out, but the sales will be low because of the reduced IQ,

It’s a huge mistake. It was great to have a separate gaming related social network to goof off it. Honestly one of the few things that was good about the Wii U outside of the first party games.

I love going shopping. Always a great choice between the 3 shirts in the store that fit me.

Not really a lot. I remember people saying the PS4's first year was unimpressive, and they released over 100 games during it.

The switch isn’t as powerful as the PS4 Slim.

32 gb of space, almost enough to hold one current gen game. Controllers controllers and more controllers, now overpriced (it’s the new vita memory card). 4 launch titles. Not powerful enough to port current gen games to it. Gimmicky controls. Casuals don’t feel the need to buy new consoles, stop trying to appeal

It’ll never work for Sony, because they don’t have any of that sweet pokemon IP paint to cover up a turd. I’m pretty sure this is the first time a game with a metacritic under 70 won something at a major award show.

The problem is that an award show is supposed to be awarding things for being the best. Pokemon Go is not even close to being a good game. It shouldn’t have been nominated for anything, let alone win. It literally won because its a free game with a popular license, and that is spit in the face of serious game

13-2 was much better than 13, but I wouldn’t only consider it to be an extremely good game in comparison to 13. 13 was a total trainwreck I couldn’t stop watching. 13-2 was just an average game at best. Studios have had to shut down after releasing RPGs much better than FF13-2.

They also drum up bat poop insane conspiracy theories and then dox people they think are involved in them.

I appreciate the DS4 as a tall person with huge hands, but the rubber grips on the thumb sticks are way too slippery and they’ve shredded on all 4 controllers I own. The damn triggers go off when you set the controller down, almost had a heart attack when I heard the doll in Bloodborne taking damage when I got up to
