The Eternals are an interesting group, though much more so in the 70s than now.

My worry is that the Eternals have never really had autonomy in the MU, and are sort of crammed into continuity (looking at their wiki, it’s basically just how they relate to other more popular Marvel properties). Therefore the movie itself may suffer from being like 75% expositional info dumps. 

I’m still not 100% convinced it’s not all an elaborate cover for an MCU version of the FF... but I’ll admit that the evidence for that is relatively flimsy (although I’d love it if the “You won’t believe what’s coming next... 1... 2... 3...” teaser from the new Spiderman turned out to be pointing that way).
