The problem with Trolley Buses is a lack of flexibility and cost of setting up and maintaining all those wires. And the poles have ‘shoes’ that need to be replaced regularly as well.

A recent move to Southern California brought me in contact with these electric buses. They are far quieter than the diesel versions. They also ride better with less shifting and gear changes. This should be mandated into existence.
