The big problem I foresee is these outdoing the movies themselves to the point I’d rather see them redone in animation.
I mean, we’re going to have to agree to disagree if you think that io9 doesn’t have a better handle on sci-fi/fantasy and genre than EW, which is written for the widest possible audience.
That BVUMMMMM stays rather high in my favorite sound effects nostalgia list.

I think even as the trailers have gotten more “spider-verse-y” I think they’ve done a decent job of keeping miles as like, the lens to it all, but I’m really hoping that the full movie is much more centered on his story than the trailers are letting on. I’d love a great spider-verse movie that stars miles morales, but…

They’re clearly all Life Model Decoys. That’s the only possible explanation.
He’s already looked much younger. Then again, he barely ages at all. Same with Ming-Na Wen.
