I gotta admit.... there were some funny moments with Flash, but Aquaman’s overall “FUCK YEAH! I’M IN A SUPERGROUP, BRAH!” attitude is really selling it for me.

If DC was trying hard to be Marvel we’d have some good movies by now.

To be fair, red skies = shit going down in every DC crossover since Crisis. I get the reference.

I think Cyborgs design in Injustice 2 is way better than the one in this movie.

1. I know MCU Iron Man suits have a certain aesthetic, but Cyborg’s setup and Flash’s costume need to be more minimalistic and smoother (for the former) and less Injustice 2-ey (for the latter). Same problem with the movie Power Rangers suits—too busy and cluttered.

The best version for sure.

Disappointed by Wonder Woman? It was as good, or better, than any of the top MCU films.

It looks like they’ve lightened up the tone a bit, which is good news. Momoa seems to be channeling The Brave and the Bold’s Aquaman, which is even better.
