Doctor Strange was a pleasant surprise to me, in that the final confrontation wasn’t a punch out. Admittedly, it was just a Maguffin record skip thing, but it was nice. Then I saw GotG2 and saw the building powers between Quill and Ego, only to be disappointed that the final confrontation between two godly-powered

It’s directly referencing something that happened in the Priest run of the Black Panther comics in the 90's. Killmonger made a move to become the new Black Panther and ruler of Wakanda, and was actually running around with the suit for a little while.

Steve Rogers, the last recipient of Erskine’s formula, fought with Johann Schmidt— the first recipent of Erskine’s formula.

They’re all different flavors of the same egg MacGuffin.

How about two guys fight, and then stop fighting when they discover their mothers have the same first names.

How about Good Guy fights without suit and realizes True Power lies within? That’s fresh, right? Maybe they could go in that direction.

Oh look, a Marvel superhero fights essentially his evil counterpart. THAT’S new ground for Marvel.

So once again a marvel movie ends with the good guy fighting the bad guy wearing a modified suit that the good guy wears?

I would appreciate them stirring up the playbook a little.

Oh, they’re all the same. Good catch, though.

If Bruce was Hulked out when he went to Sakaar, how did he get the shirt? Is the Marvel Cosmic space just full of 80s stuff?

Who created the Dyson Sphere?

Bruce, please don’t hulk out while wearing this shirt. It’s too awesome to ruin.

In Season 3 of MAoS, didn’t Simmons, Coulson, Fitz and Ward all ended up on Ego, the Living Planet. So how do we reconcile TV budget Ego with the blockbuster movie Ego of Vol 2?

No, they didn’t.

Wasn’t that planet called Maveth?

If Justice League legit bombs (and I think it won’t no matter how bad it is) most of the films set in motion will continue...but not all. I’ve always said that Cyborg was never going to see the light of day no matter what, but if JL tanks it’ll be all but written in stone. And The Flash may not get made either as a

Right. Technically, lawyers are allowed to represent their friends in court, but it’s very much looked down upon. Given the gravity of the case and Daredevil’s proximity to the events, though, I got the impression that the judge was too preoccupied to think too too hard about DD’s identity.

I don’t remember exactly what they said, but it was something about how Matt and Daredevil being friends was a conflict of interest, so to keep everything kosher, Matt wasn’t going to be in the room while Daredevil was questioned.

And how exactly is Matt suppose to call on Daredevil as a witness? No one will wonder why he’s absent from the courtroom?
