I am convinced that most people just think it looks cool and really know very little about Frank Castle and the Punisher. Besides that he wears a cool skull and always totes around giant guns. That “badass” look/feel is what these people are after.

“Ghost-Spider” is a much better name for her than “Spider-Gwen”. I think Marvel Rising got that 100% right. Hope Sony goes with that.

Ya but the original Muppet Babies was awash in pop culture references as well. One of the most famous scenes is their rendition of Star Wars.

When Disney bought the Lucasfilm company one of the first decisions they made was to toss aside all the expanded universe canon. Only the six movies and the Clone Wars TV show were considered canon still.

Honestly, this trailer looks more geared towards folks who were kids in the late 90s when the game/shop first game out in the US. I am sure it’s family friendly as everything with the Poke-name has to be, but I think they are hoping young parents are the ones dragging their young kids to it and not the other way…

Some weird multiverse vampire dudes were killing off Spider-heroes from across the Marvel multiverse to feed on their Spider-energy (or some nonsense). So Spider-heros from across the Marvel Multiverse banded together to fight them.

Put Barrowman in everything. Love that guy.
