I once made a butternut squash and sweet potato lasagna that was so delicious that I thought for a second I could become a food blogger or write recipe books.

This is making me laugh extremely hard and I am having hard time hiding it.

I rewatched Hancock recently and it just seems to limp to an ending. All that buildup with the gods, Hancock becoming a better person, and it just…ends. But Jason Bateman continues to be endearing so that's something.

Saturday was great! Went to Burger Fest, day drank with my buddies and listened to some weird cover bands while eating several different kinds of burgers and fries. Other than those few hours, it was a pretty boring/quiet weekend.

I am ridiculously happy The Big Sick is doing well, and I have no connection to it other than really liking Kumail from podcasts and his stand up. Maybe because they both seem like very nice, earnest people and I want them to do well in life.

I enjoyed it but I have also read too many articles about the movie and I think that skewed it. If I had gone in without any knowledge of the technical work, I probably would have enjoyed it more or at least not have been looking for those details. Though maybe then I'd be expecting more laughs. Jon Hamm was great as

Oh, Transformers.

That's the kind of stuff I can see being really funny if its my friends, but not so much as a casual observer. How disappointing.

Maybe there are a lot of inside jokes that make it super funny for Scott. He seemed to find the outtakes hilarious where the reviewer appears to hate them.

The good news is that because of this movie, he's been doing the promotional circuit. He's such a delight in interviews.

That's a real bummer. I like everyone that's in this movie, but I guess that answers which movie I should see this weekend - Baby Driver.

I really enjoy how she gets fed up the second he starts talking.

Actually, all they need to do is watch the trailer. No need to watch the whole movie.

I wasn't aware that the options were celebrate Full House or celebrate Tatiana Maslany. But I'm glad I have options.

Even though she got nominated for a tv show. Hollywood is weird (I already knew this though)

Out of curiosity - why would they go with Golden Globe Nominee for Tatiana and not Emmy Award Winner? She was nominated for the same thing in both, and the Emmy was more recent. Because Golden Globes have to do with movies?

I feel like every time I read the news, I end up saying "Are you fucking kidding me".

I'm thrilled that The Good Place is listed for new show and comedy but that's some pretty stiff competition. I can't fault anyone for losing this year. What great choices.

I am slightly confused as to what constitutes God - Jesus and leprechauns aren't Gods though people pray to them and give them sacrifices (like Essie's food to Mad Sweeney) but instead just beliefs? Or are they all too weak to be of use to Wednesday?

He seems like such a sweet guy. I can't wait to see this movie.
