From what I read, the woman also doesn't blame the guy, she blames the producers for letting it get that far out of hand. And neither of the contestants put forth the complaint, it was a producer. So I'm not sure if anyone but the production team is getting blamed for this.

He's such a great story teller, and I'm thrilled he moved to LA so he can (hopefully) be on more podcasts.

I really liked this episode but at the same time, with only an episode left, I couldn't help feeling disappointed that we're not checking in on Shadow's world. It's a hard balance with only a handful of episodes a season and so many good stories to tell.

I feel like people even use Ivanka as a reason why Trump would be a reasonable president. Like she would keep him in line with important social issues. What the hell is that about? Why are we counting on him listening to his daughter?!

I can't remember a time when the kids of a president were so present in the white house. Sure there were conversations about them, but they weren't front and center of their narratives.

He always tells the best stories on podcasts. He just seems like a genuinely nice person that crazy stuff constantly happens to.

I fear geese.

I'm pretty sure. I hope so. But does anyone know for sure they're sane?

I'm getting real tired of being an informed, sane person. Its just like getting kicked in the shins each morning before going to work.

Things he cares about - Himself, making money and Ivanka. I'm slightly surprised she couldn't talk him out of it but, you know, money.

I did enjoy that he seemed to roll with his dead wife hanging around, but the second Media floated into the room he freaked the fuck out. Zombie wife - cool. Floating person from TV - not cool.

Thanks! I guess I've just never paid attention before.

Can someone explain the veils to me? Is it a fashion choice? Are they making a statement?

Trying not to spoil the tv show for you, but the context for the affair makes sense and is similar in nature to your understanding. It doesn't make it 'understandable' or gain her sympathy necessarily, but it makes sense within her world view.

I never read the book, so I have no basis of comparison, but I really enjoyed the backstory on Laura. Emily Browning knocked it out of the park and Laura's and Audrey's scenes were terrific.

I was trying to answer without sarcasm as well :) We all have pop culture blind spots! No judgement!

Did you miss his stand-up career? He has a very specific persona in it that's personally a little off putting.

I thought the same thing!

Their friendship is very lived in and I loved it. I would be on board for that spin off

Love her carrying around her arm like a weird purse everywhere
