I don't feel particularly offended, but everyone is different.

You're being facetious right?

This was pretty good honestly. I don't know what it is about people getting defensive and touchy about their favorite stuff but this episode wasn't bad. The fact hat this is not canon should at least stop the tears and pitchforks.

:/

Right? Should Lapis have not been so kind, what were the gems gonna do?

Jasper has some eyelash thing going on though, which it usually reserved for female-inspired designs in western animation.

Right on it.

Just caretakers/friends. Unless the gems are related to each other, but I doubt they can even have a lineage.

I don't know. I thought Ruby, aside from the gender-linked name that most gems were given, could actually pass (forgive the wording) as a energetic and spunky male. Like how female voice actors voice males all the time.

Is she still on Earth? I couldn't decide if I thought she was in the middle of warping, or if the pod was just glowing at such high speeds in the atmosphere.

So how is Steven communicating with Peridot if it's implied that Gems are extinct on Earth since kindergarten's shut down and humans were just barely forming civilizations? Did the gems bring whatever-English-means with them? lol

I don't think it's that intimate (or at least I hope not).

Ah yes, thank goodness. This analogy makes a lot more sense. Still though, it's a bit weird when both are much older than Greg anyway.

I was taken aback by how Amethyst referred to Rose as "she" and "her" in that tone. How far does her jealousy go? I'm hoping it's just the "I'm a friend forgotten" situation and nothing more.

Yeah, that's how it usually works. And here I am wondering what notes the season will end off on.

I can't believe Amethyst would pull such a stunt though. I'm surprised Steven took it so well, but I guess he kinda has to, living with the Gems and all. He certainly has matured a lot.

It certainly is something special. I'm glad it doesn't seem to be getting sickeningly sweet yet. Also, Connie is really stoked about animal collagen and bone marrow.
